I'm stuck in extended network and because of this it wont allow the *228 activation to update. I have another verizon phone and it is not in extended network neither are friends that have verzion, i also live in town where i get service but for some reason am not anymore on just this phone! I need out of Extended network it is driving me crazy! what can i do if it wont let me use *228? I'm Verizon the extended network is Alltel. Please help!
Whats your location? I could find Verizon coverage & what band(s) they use in your area... Try dialing *22800, *22801 *22802, *22803, *22804, *22805, *22806, or *22807 One of them should be Verizon, as long as you are in their service area. Likely *22800 or *22801 (800 Mhz). Hope this helps.
Im having the same issue with no longer having good service or any service for that matter, I called verizon and they told me their is no service interuptions in the area, and then once i leave my home area, I get excellent service. I have the LG vx8600 & my wifes phone service has lost alot also and she has the razor. VZW said i have a bad phone and their sending me a new one, but i beleive their is something up with the tower.? anyone familar with orange county ny.? Also i no longer receive signal in my home and where I used to in my home was never an issue. I always had a full signal or a couple bars less
