High speed broadband internet for wireless. Alltel has been implementing it very heavily the past year or two. It allows you to use the data network at up to 2.4 mbps, with an average of around 700 kbps with a phone and higher with a data card. Another term for this you may know is "3G". Though it varies slightly between the CDMA and GSM carriers.

It's pretty good. It's not my primary phone, the KRZR is. But it does very well. Wish you could customize the home keys/menu but it's not that big of a deal. Camera could be slightly better, but it's not bad by any means. Very nice phone overall. The paint on it can chip easily so don't put it in the same pocket as your keys.....If you get one make sure you have the latest software, sometimes they are not sold with it on already. They did a fix to help the battery life and small messaging quirks. Cell top is very useful if you don't have the axcess mobile internet/wap....
