There's been a lot of articles lately about the Essential Phone https://www.essential.com/#specifications https://www.essential.com/#introduction
I read the Verge article. I am really liking what I am seeing, except for the price lol... Sent from my XT1097 using Tapatalk
Here is another article from CNN: http://money.cnn.com/2017/05/30/technology/essential-phone-android/ I don't see any mention on the essential.com website about what glass is used. I just cracked the screen on my Moto X, so I'm in the market for something new.
I see that Essential is offering an add-on 360 degree camera for $50 https://shop.essential.com/products/phone and also now Samsung is offering their Gear 360 camera for $50 with an S8 purchase. http://samsungpromotions.com/360summer/?cid=dis-mb-cph-0517-2006700 Coincidence?
Interesting, to say the least. Something I found on the Samsung site says, "Your Gear 360 will arrive in approximately 6-8 weeks after your order is completed". Any business that takes 2 months to process your order is bound to fail.
It wasn't any different within 2 days of AirPods being released. I don't see Apple failing any time soon. Also will be interesting to see how Tesla performs in the long run, in the beginning 2+ year wait wasn't that uncommon. Just sayin'
I hear ya. I guess I made that remark because I just ran into the exact same thing and a large sale was lost due to the wait time. I was about to start a total kitchen remodel. I found wall and base cabinets I liked online and went to order them. Two of the sizes and styles I needed were special order. The salesperson tried to talk me out of them, telling me they would take 6 to 8 weeks. I said no way am I going to wait that long and I left. I found another source for cabinets. Once again, a couple of the cabinets were special order. This time I was told special orders take about 5-7 days. I ordered the cabinets and they got the sale.
Yes, that makes sense. But your situation was different, it's a big project hinging on the availability of something. Basically "need" vs. "want"
Delayed but maybe coming soon... http://www.pcworld.com/article/3213...e-listing-hinting-at-an-imminent-release.html
