I read the Verge article. I am really liking what I am seeing, except for the price lol...

    Interesting, to say the least.

Something I found on the Samsung site says, "Your Gear 360 will arrive in approximately 6-8 weeks after your order is completed". Any business that takes 2 months to process your order is bound to fail.

It wasn't any different within 2 days of AirPods being released. I don't see Apple failing any time soon. Also will be interesting to see how Tesla performs in the long run, in the beginning 2+ year wait wasn't that uncommon. Just sayin' ;)

I hear ya. I guess I made that remark because I just ran into the exact same thing and a large sale was lost due to the wait time.

I was about to start a total kitchen remodel. I found wall and base cabinets I liked online and went to order them. Two of the sizes and styles I needed were special order. The salesperson tried to talk me out of them, telling me they would take 6 to 8 weeks. I said no way am I going to wait that long and I left.

I found another source for cabinets. Once again, a couple of the cabinets were special order. This time I was told special orders take about 5-7 days. I ordered the cabinets and they got the sale.

Yes, that makes sense. But your situation was different, it's a big project hinging on the availability of something. Basically "need" vs. "want" :)
