Anyone know when T-Mobile may offer Erisson phones in California?

Phones such as T68i or T39m. I am waiting for those, to sign up with them.

    Thanks!

Read somewhere (probably here) that the T68i would be out in mid to late August.
Interestingly, there was a joint Sony Ericsson/Cingular ad in the current issue of Fortune Magazine for the T68i.

If you are living in several areas
(San Francisco, Oakland, LA, Any major bay area cities)
you should be able to get a T68i or many other new phones
Even the new T66 that is in asia now, (GSM triband) it's very(X10) tiny and cute
    in some of the retailers.

But keep in mind that u can only get a certain area code
but u can change it after a month. (just say you are moving)

Go get a Chinese newspaper (Sing Tao news), and search for phones ^_^
(you don't really need to know how to read chinese)
flip it until you see several pages of phones and company,
see the price and go for it ^_^

Hmm...are they available at any T-Mobile retailers in the Bay Area?

If they are from Chinese retailers, are they SIM unlocked phones? The lowest price on the web I have seen for a T68i is about US $420. Do you know how much these Chinese retailers charge for these? Do I need to activate service with them also?

    Thx

I've got them for $400-$410 shipped. It's not a big difference in price, but you'll save a few dollars. The phones I sale are UNLOCKED. I have that T66 too. I haven't had any buyers for that though. Anyone interested, just let me know.

I got a T68i unlocked from an independent dealer for $180 with activation. There are several stores on Irving Street around 22nd ave or on Clement Street around 11th ave. They charge you more without activation.

These are good quality new phones right? Not used ones from Asia or elsewhere or perhaps lemons?

    Thx!

Whoa! Where at exactly? I've been wanting a T68i for the longest time now. Hope it isn't shady business. [IMG]
