I have two phones with Verizon Wireless (actually three, but one's not being used at this time).

    1 LG VX6000
    1 LG VX4000
    1 Samsung a530

I'm using the LG VX6000, and I have Americas Choice Plan (PRL 50085), and my ERI version says 50018.

My (not being used) VX4400 has AC (PRL 50085) and ERI 50018.

My Samsung a530 has AC (PRL 50085) but ERI 50019.

What's the difference, if any? Will one (or both LG's rather) perform differently when roaming since they both have differerent (but the same -- 50018) ERI versions?

    Thanks

The difference in the ERI is rather unimportant. The ERI just decodes PRL data and then displays on your phone whether you are on Verizon service, extended network, or roaming. The different versions have to do with intricacies of the different models of phones (display size and arrangement I think). There is no end-result that is different, meaning one isn't "older" than another or "better" than another.
