Re: Edge? Maybe!!!! You're a recent overlay, it'll take a little while to stabilize I still bounce back to gprs quite a bit with the local tower since they overlaid edge here 3 weeks ago. The edits are another discussion, you just need PHM Registry Editor, google it it's free.
well im not good with phone mods but if it has been switching back and forth between G and E then that means that they are in the process of putting it in......they're probably testing and fixing probs.........typical upgrade process
WAP test results with Nokia 6101: 6 kbit/sec (1,101)s latency 3.418 d/l time It would not do the HTML test because it indicated the phone did not fully support JavaScript. Obviously, this is not EDGE speeds.
Having recently switched from Cingular to T-Mobile was a little disappointed that they do not have edge in the area I live. My BB 8100 shows GPRS, they claim they are updating hopefully soon. I know I have seen EDGE on my daughters sidekick on occasion, so there must be some EDGE T-Mobile signal in the area. Hopefully in upstate NY (90 miles north of the City that I believe has EDGE) upgrade will happen soon.
