I know I can get close to the 280hr expected standby time, but I think that leaves me near zero talk time, so its moot to get that. I can get the e815 to dial saved phonebook entries by pronouncing the name I save the entry as. If you don't save the entry you can't voice dial it.
Voice dailing works OK I figured out how to dial save phonebook entries. It works. I save a lot of my entries as "A Smith', "L Jones", etc, and the system has a bit of trouble figuring out those, I guess because they have initials, it like entries with full names better.
Re: Voice dailing works OK For voice recog algorithms, the more complex the name, the more likely it can find it because the sound make it more distinctive. It doesn't pronounce some words well such as those with double 'o', so Floor is pronounced 'flur.' Also be warry of non-English names.. You can however, adjust the spelling to match the computers interpretation of the pronounciation.
