On the outside they look almost identical, save the blue-ish tint on the Droid2, but the inside specs of the Droid2 are def more imprssive. Plus the keyboard is improved and ditched the "D-pad" on the Droid2 as well. Overall, as a Droid (Milestone) owner myself, I'd say the Droid 2 is staying true to the originals roots, but with some more internal fire-power. ...the only possible "downside" of the D2 would be the "Motorola custom skin" on the OS. I keep hearing bad things happen everytime Moto tries to "improve" the OS (ex: MotoBlur). Hopefully there's some way to disable the Moto-skin and have it run the stock Android OS.

What an upgrade. The changes between the Droid and the Droid 2 is huge. Just looking at the change in the speed of the processor and the memory is outstanding.

I liked Droid 1, it's a bit bulky but it seems to work ok.

The Droid 2 is just too darn huge. I can't put it in my pocket
