Drew Carey=Bob Barker

Ugh, they should have just let the show end in dignity

I hope he doesn't get on there....and do nothing but crack jokes the ENTIRE time up on stage. Bob made a few....but I get this feeling Drew is going to act like a clown for the entire show. I hope I am wrong.

 

You also have to consider people said the same thing when Carson retired.

So did I...I loved that show.....but TPIS is different...and I hope he treats it different. I don't want him to act like Bob Barker....but again, this isn't the Drew Carey show...or is it "Who's Line is it Anyways"

 

When you get a new host on a game show there is always sentiment for the original host. Does Louie Anderson do as good of a job as Richard Dawson did on the Family Feud? Personally I like Richard Dawson, because that's who I remember hosting that show when I grew up, but I'm sure if I asked my niece she'd say Louie Anderson.

 

On whose line is it anyway? he was the least funny of the bunch.

Anyone that believes this with Tower 7 or loves anything Tom Cruise say's & does should be put out to pasture. I can't stand her & when everything happened to her on the View, I was thinking Donald must be even happier. :biggrin:

As for Drew, I liked the show & I like watching "Who's line is it anyhow".

 

Give the man a chance He might do a fantastic job! I think he probably knows he's been given a fantastic job and you know he might just do it proud

Yes he may be good at this job & only time will tell.

 

I'm guessing CBS liked what they saw in Drew Carey.

I'm with the larger consensus here that I don't think this will work, but I've never really been a fan of the show, so in the scheme of things, it makes no difference to me. :dunno:

the longest running gameshow on tv... something tells me it won't be keeping this title after he takes over.
