Man, I always wanted a Motorola 270c but CellularONE didn't go to CDMA here in Kansas until Sept. and they're hard to find now that they're discontinued. I thought those phones looked really nice and if I had one I could shove it in people's faces and yell, TIMEPORT!!!!!! and then run away. I've never really had any coverage issues on my TDMA v2397 but it is an ugly phone... not like "Curv-ugly" but pretty unattractive. I guess I should count my blessings that the damn thing works.
I'm used to my v60i's battery life, and then going to a T720/T730, jeezus. I need to get the high performance battery to even come close to matching what my v60i's was. That's basically been the only problem for me with my T720. I WANT A DREAM PHONE..WHEREEVER CAN I BUY ONE?
The first model in PFP's "dream phone" series will be launching shortly. It's called the vxt6900e. The "e" stands for "everything".
Wait, wait, wait. Does the e just stand for everything or does the phone actually have everything. If the phone doesn't have everything I don't want one.
No, it actually has everything, kinda like a swiss army knife. Toothpick, jumper cables, microwave oven, short range radio, TV tuner, DVD player, spare tire, gum ball machine, miter saw, kleenex dispenser, dish washer, blue tooth, ping pong paddle, lamp, fishing lure, photon torpedo, and shoe box. We're still trying to cut down on the size. Right now, it weighs a metric ton. But the first person to order one gets a mail in rebate for a free Tadlock with trade in of any existing wireless advisor member.
That's what PFP, Inc. is going to bring to the public. As soon as we all learn how to make cell phones.
Ceno: Now why would you want me to leave man...come on?!?! Besides...I'm not free I WANT A PFP-ing PHONE!
No, you're not free. They'd have to trade in another WA member to get you. And you wouldn't be leaving, more like taking a field trip.
Ahhh... The Most Dangerous Game. Can I come on the hunt? I've got a Barrett "Light" .50cal I've been wanting to try out.
Yeah, sure, if Tadpole wants to put on a deer costume and run around in the woods outside PFP HQ. Our excuse for the hunting trip: We'll be testing the coverage in the rural areas around HQ, and testing the possibilities of firearms interfering with our phones' RF performance.
I'd love to put on the costume. What's the chance I'll get shot and never be able to come back to the forum again?
Well, those guys play paintball and I just like to shoot stuff so I'd say accuracy is not going to be a problem. We'll post a memorial thread for you, Tad.
We could bury you in a giant v60-shaped casket then post pictures, it'd be great. We could flip it open at the viewing and then flip it closed at the graveyard. We could program the ringtone to play Amazing Grace and Ceno could call your casket while you were being lowered into the ground.
there are quite a few threads and posts that dont relate to Moto and yet they continue to exist which is absolutely fine if they have relevant material to the subject containing factual and direct subjects, Opinions of course degrade the content of these threads.
Well, it depends. If you're wanting to know someone's opinion of a certain phone or coverage in a certain area it can help. Although there do tend to be people representing both pro and con for these issues. In my opinion asking the opinions of others about such things is a good way to narrow down your choices and also know what to look for so you don't get a service or phone you don't want/can't use. In the end, though it's always up to you to try it out and make sure it works for you because other people's needs are not the same as yours. However, there are many instances where opinions are not needed or are not presented in an articulate manner and in that respect I agree with the fair protector of our boards, Xprtcop.
Cop: Definietely. Rancid: I would love a v60 style casket. Amazing Grace might have to go, but, it's definietely something to try on for size. Many opinions are asked for directly, which move along the thread. As said, when opinions aren't displayed properly, or burst out, causing some what of a war, that's when it becomes a problem.
I don't know what to say to this. As the alter ego of Captain Scotland, Scotland's greatest and only hero (other than Sean Connery) I take this as a deliberate insult on the land of my forefathers. Many men would kill to have outlawed tunes played on outlawed pipes at their funeral... or in this case outlawed tunes badly replicated on a wireless phone. (Unless the v60 casket has polyphonics.)
LOL. Okay okay, so have Amazing Grace being blasted from my v60 casket..and yes, in poly ringtone format
