My phone was dropped into water for about a second. I immediatly took out the battery and dried the phone off. didnt touch any buttons. I put the phone and battery in rice. I just checked the battery and to me it doesnt look like theres water damage on the battery.
    Does it?
If no then does this mean the phone will be okay?
How long should it stay in the rice for? I also dried it out a little with a hair drier.

Can't tell if their is water damage by that pic. As far as the rice, I'd say leave it for a day. :)

Agreed. A day is long enough.

Good luck! I hope your phone survived! :)

It is a method of drying out phones that have gotten wet. The rice draws the water out.

If there is even one drop of water left inside, it can ruin your phone by corroding it and making the wrong contact. Obviously you need to remove as much of the water as soon as possible, to prevent it from easing its way into the phone.I must say that you behaved very wisely.
