Does this app exist?

    In the market I'm sure there is something. I've searched under text, speech to text and such.

    Is there a program that will let you do Voice to text and vice versa?
    For example text to (my hubby) I'm am here in the lobby.
    without having to type it?

    I seem to be missing the microphone symbol on my android keyboard as well :(
    Not sure why ....

    Okay the program appears to be awesome!! However quick question. It won't work unless connected to wifi or data plan all the time correct??? :(

    I don't think any voice to text apps will work without data.

    Vlingo won't work without data - it is because it looks at your speech patterns as you use it to get better about recognizing what you're saying. I think the google voice recognition is built in without needing data. But you have to have your cursor in the area that you want the text in.
    With Vlingo, you can specify which program to drop the text into.
