display icons on samsung a670

    There is a display icon on my phone that is not in the manual. It is red and looks like a phone..Does anybody know what it means?? Thanks!!!!

    If it is the missed call icon, then go into the call log, look at the missed calls and view any that you haven't looked at before, also reset/clear all the missed calls. If it is still there then power cycle (turn your phone off & on) and hopefully it will be gone...:)

    I have the a670...that red cell phone at the top shows that you have the phone on a vibrate mode. If you bring the phone back up to a ring mode, that red phone should go away!

    I FOUND the answer.
    Menu - Call Options - #5 - TTY Mode.
    Check (or uncheck) that, and it disappears.
