My wife and I just got new phones from AT&T. I got a Samsung Rugby and she got a LG GU295. We are dinosaurs abd only use the phones to make telephone calls. We like our phone choices but there is a small irritation, both phones have a button for "Push to Talk". We don't use the feature but it is easy to push the button unintentionally. You then get a message asking if you want to activate the feature at an addition charge.

Is there any way to disable this button in software so that it becomes non-functional? I would not open the case and try to electrically disconnect it.

Better yet, be reassigned to something useful, like voice dialing. Go to Hermes - xda-developers(http:// forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=254) and search for LG GU295 & Samsung Rugby.
