I like the concept, but I can't afford the Storm because I upgraded my phone almost 8 months ago. Full retail pricing is $500:eek:... by the time I'm able to get one, there will be a Storm 2 (or 3:rolleyes:).

Yeah the storm is pretty expensive! thats why I'm hoping they will let me upgrade my phone early. If not then I guess I'll just have to wait. =(

I thought about getting a Storm. I picked up my first BlackBerry in years (I got one of the first ones years ago when I worked for Cingular) back in September. It was an 8830 World Edition. I liked the keyboard, the messaging and e-mail capabilities, but beyond that I was frustrated with the lack of a touchscreen and the OS was bothering the hell out of me. I guess it is something you get used to; I've been a Palm devotee for years.

I got rid of the BlackBerry in favor of a Centro and I haven't looked back. I love the form factor, the touchscreen is responsive as ever, and all of my old apps work.

The wobbling display housing drove me crazy. I'm going to pass and wait for the Bold in January.

I thought the Niagara (CDMA version of the Bold) was supposed to be coming out in May. Has that changed?

BTW, tried out the Storm in the store. Took 3 minutes to type 3 sentences on that touchscreen. Not for me. Waiting on the Niagara.

I'd get one if they didn't charge $30 for data. I'm going with the Dare instead since it's only $15.

My fingers just aren't that agile. I do ok on the iphone though - but I do prefer a tactile keyboard.

I passed on the Storm! Couldn't stand the gap on the top or bottom of the screen. And the frosting on the cake was when the screen moves in the housing. I'll wait for the "Bold".
