The thread title was just to get the attention of the "old-timers" here at WA...no Knives or flashlights will be featured here. And I don't know what happened to Yello. Anyway, I jumped back into the forefront of wireless technology today (1st time since I quit selling cell phones) and activated my Verizon Moto RAZR. Woo buddy does this thing do a lot of crap. I am waaaay behind where I used to be. Anyway, I have one question. When using this Mobile Web 2.0 (I never used 1.0) I see I can access Yahoo.com (My email of choice), but I cannot access my Yahoo! Business email (which I pay for). On Yahoo, I click to chosse which one I want to open, on Mobile Web 2.0 I only seem to be able to get at the free email, which I never use. Any Ideas? Any other cool RAZR tips, pass them my way. I'm just now getting familiar with this thing. Other than that, I am still busting ghosts and such. (www.centralohioparanormal.com....proof I'm still a gadget freak)...and my usual forum home has up and banished from the face of the earth, so I'm kinda wandering aimlessly through the web. Anthro still here? I saw Shoresguy...who else?
Good to see you back Delta! Anthro & Shores are still around. going for the new technology is cool. I am currently using an iPAQ 6515, a Moto V3, and I still sometimes use my old V551. In the meantime I've also converted an old brick phone for use as a bluetooth accessory. The ultimate in retro-tech. Later, Jay
Hey Delta! Shizam here....yeah last time I talked to you I had probably 200 posts (look at them now ) Glad to see you checking in! It just isn't the same without you, Yello and Michele. Glad to see you are still into the ghost thing in Ohio. Weren't you part of a TAPS group before? I don't remember the name of the group you were in before....was it the same as this one? :headscrat My favorite show is Ghost Hunters on Sci-Fi. Where did you hang out that erased of the face of the earth? Sorry...I can't help you with a verizon razr...I have one with Cingular, but it doesn't do mp3's and all that. Don't be a stranger 'round here!
Yeah, I was in a TAPS group, but it was nothing like the one we have now. We have nearly as much stuff as TAPS does now. And it was TAPS's forum that vanished mysteriously. Not sure how to make the phone do MP3's yet, but the GPS navigation is sweet. Looks like I'll have to get the Bluetooth headset this time. Really looking for a holster-type case (Not the plastic belt-clip type) for my RAZR. Some of you change your names?
Hey Delta. It's Gamer here. How are you doing? If you want e-mail and there is no way to search for a website on your phone, I would download Opera Mini. More information about the program is found here: http://www.opera.com/products/mobile/operamini/
Yeah, there were some name changes... Most notably was RancidHooligan is now MotoHooligan, & DWS is now Conqsoft. Please forgive me if I forgot anyone else's changes. -Jay
Gamer, That would be nice but.... "Opera Mini is available to all Sprint and Cingular customers. Availability for T-Mobile customers is dependent on the subscription plan. BREW-enabled phones, including Verizon, are currently not supported." Thats what it said when I clicked on the RAZR V3.
I wonder what DID happen to him? Probably arrested and thrown in jail for carrying some of those satanic-looking karambit knives he had made....
It says in his profile....last login 06-18-06...so he HAS been here :browani: ....just lurking behind us with those knives!
Hey Delta, nice of you to stop in again. May be now is the time for you to get that Verizon Corp. job since you are a little behind on phones & such.
I think I finally figured out why I never got that job....They based it on my credit (which was good enough to get one of their damn phones). EDIT...whoa there! You almost got me on the old tirade wagon already!! I'm supposed to be reformed!
What's up dude? I say you stick it to VZW for never hiring you and you go on out and switch to Sprint!
Hi there Delta, talk about a breeze from the past . Hope life's treating you well and great to see you on here again!!
Yeah I'm still doing my same old thing. Though lately I write more reports than anything else. I suppose that isn't all bad, it is summer in Arizona after all.
Good to see you, Delta. I'm M.I.A. on WA a lot these days as I just don't have time at work to post anymore. :O Just for old time's sake... And now, back to work.
