    Whoo-boy, is there ever some deals out there! When I stumbled on this, I about fell out of my chair. Not long ago I THOUGHT I found the "hook up" buy typing "Wholesale Cell Phone Accessories" in any web browser and finding the places on the web where you can buy an X-Life battery for $22 instead of $59.99.

    That was nothing!

    The magic word is.......EBAY!

    I'm not talking about private citezens with used parts. There are Cell Phone Accessories GALORE on Ebay.
    EXAMPLE: I just bought a 1600milliamp (?) X-Life battery for my girlfriends sisters VX10. Price: $6.95 plus $5.95 shipping. Grand Total: $12.90

    VX6000 X-Life batteries can be found for around $10.00!!

    Looked up to see what else I could get my girlfriend for her A310, and for $14.99 she could get this package:
    * X-Life Battery
    * Leather Case
    * Travel Charger
    * Car Charger
    * Generic Swivel Clip
    * Antenna Booster (like it works!)
    * Radiation Blocker (like THAT works!)

    Still.....FIFTEEN BUCKS???...and you can find deals like that for about any phone!

    Try it out!!

    Yeah, but are the batteries OEM or aftermarket? I wouldn't use an aftermarket battery if my life depended on it, especially after all the exploding aftermarket batteries on Nokias lately.

    I just looked...I doesn't say, just that the are Li-Ion, New, and the power output. I'll look when I get it in.

    I did not hear about exploding Nokias...only Exploding Kyoceras.

    Ceno is right....I bought an extended batter from a dealer on Ebay for a Sprint Samsung N200 phone...he was a dealer, not a guy selling it used. Ebay store fronts are about on par with buying something out of the trunk of someone's car....actually less, at least you can look at what is in the trunk.

    The battery worked....but lasted no longer then the standard battery that came with the phone.

    Were you living under a rock for the last month? There must be a dozen threads throughout WA talking about all the exploding Nokias lately.

    Kinda. I was so pi$$ed off at the patronizing I got at my last phony VZW interview that I kinda lost interest in cell phones for a while and concentrated on my paintball project. Now I have done everything I can possibly do until Jan/Feb so here I am.

    I rarely venture outside the Moto forum.

    BTW: Day 10 with no Smokes. I figured out the key. Work somewhere lese where noone smakes and they can't light up and smoke whnever and whereever they want. Actually I had one with a buddy in the back of his shoe store the other day. (So I had one) All I wanted to do the rest of the day was run home and change my clothes and take a shower. Smoke smell gets REAL offensive once you get away from it a while!

    Well done Delta...I quit about 15 years ago...smartest thing I ever did. Back that, I was only 21/22, in the military and could BARELY run our manditory once a year mile and a half. Now....I ran 5 miles yesterday at luch...and I have run several 13 mile half marathons.....pretty sad...I am in better shape at 38 then I was at 21.

    Hang in there.....lets support our cell phone using brother.

    Now....if I can only give up drinking... [IMG]

    Well I gave the battery to my gfriends sister on Thursday. She charged it up and has left it on ever since....still on full charge. Didn't see anything on it to indicate that it was OEM. So far the battery has not exploded into a shower of lava or anything of that sort. She reports nothing funny as of yet.

    Delta: Keep strong! You'll quit smoking yet! Keep us updated on your gf's sister's battery...I was thinking of getting the high power battery off eBay, but, didn't think I should get the aftermarket...although the prices are tempting..?

    I've bought non-OEM batteries in the past for my Nokia's & have never had a problem with them. Come to think of it...I've bought many different non-OEM products & have always had good luck with them... [IMG]

    *knock on wood* [IMG]. Yeah, I've bought lots of things aftermarket, but, usually electronics, I try to stay with the OEM stuff...just to make sure I don't void my warranty pre-maturely.
