Yeah, Yeah...I know this belongs in at least 2 other forums BUT this one, but I figured I'd offer it here first before I sell it to someone else. Selling my Samsung A530. Swapped out recently, Like New condition, and I kinda quit using it. Still have all the parts, manuals, batteries, and theres not a single scratch anywhere. This one had about a 5-hours of lifetime usage. Selling it for $150. Thats what they have been going for on Ebay, and to my knowledge VZW still hasn't dropped the price on it. $300 retail, so a good phone for someone nowhere near upgrade eligable. And I am very ____ about taking care of my phones. Anyone wants it, great. If not, I'm sure I can sell it in a matter of days. Theres always someone wanting a new phone that isn't eligable, and in that case, this is a steal. I also heard they no longer come with both batteries...anyone know if thats true? (we don't sell them)
The a530 will be re-released in a silver color anyday now (as soon as existing stock is depleted.) The silver a530 will not come with the extended battery, only the standard. And I believe the 2 year price after rebate now is $130. I might actually get one, cause the gold color was the only thing that turned me off from it.
Silver A530? That WOULD be nice! Oh yeah, I have a Car Charger and a Verizon Leather Case for it too, plus theres about 12 downloaded ringtones already there.

Ceno/Delta: Any word on a projected date for the silver a530??? I really would love to get the phone, as with you Ceno, the only thing that turned me down was the gold color.
I actually kinda like the gold color, but the silver will be better anyway. One thing I dont like about it is it's another one of those Samsungs with the internet (or get-it-now) button in the middle of the 4-way keypad and the ok button off to the side.
Tadpole, the silver a530 is out now. Some stores may still have gold in stock, and they have to sell those first, but the wharehouse only has silver in stock. Mine will be here on wednesday.
Here in the city you can request a silver one at most stores but the display ones will be gold until they run out.
SWEET! Thanks Ceno. I shall call my local store and see what I can do. . I really like the design and size of that phone, the only thing I hated was the gold color...well, and the price when it came out. A530's' here I come.
