If you're talking about the CQC10, it was a limited run model that's no longer in production

I might be able to score one on USN for you for about 150. Otherwise, you would have to wait and see if I can get one at the knife show in Atlanta (Blade)

I just mad my first post at USN. It was in that thread about the knife knockoffs. I felt the need to chime in after I saw this: [IMG]

Thats right Munky...a carbon copy knockoff of your precious Emerson Combat Kerambit. I about died when I saw it. I think it was like $15.

I had seen other MTech knives before, even so-called "folding Kerambits", but never one that was so obviously someone elses design.

    (Delta does the "wave")

I see said the blind man. Went to my local blade store to day to check out whats new. Nothing great, but I played with a Emerson SARK. I really like the wave feature. Figured it out on the second try. Fr those of you not named Yello, it's a wave shaped crest on the top edge of a blade, designed to catch your pocket on the drawstroke, thus opening your knife as you pull it out of your pocket. Very Nice. I want an Emerson even more now.

But that may take a while. So...not to be one to leave a store empty handed, I contined with my study into impact weapons, and picked up a finger-groove kubaton for $3.00
    [IMG]

This thing is alright, but if I really had to use a pocket stick type device I think I'll stick with my X5 with the TID. Or better yet the Stinger. I am drawing a new concept Stinger, and then will see how I might go about getting them made, and selling the design. With what I have in mind, getting hit by my Stinger will be 10X worse than a regular one...and they are painful as hell.

If going for a Kubotan, I'd say try one with a Koppo mod done to it, or DIY.

He has 2 cabenets inside the house filled and 2 out in the garage filled up with guns. Dad only has 2 handguns witch I don't think he ever uses. They are mostly rifles and shotguns. He has few old ones. old means made before WWI. [IMG]

He's got a place in the garage, where he reloads his own bullets for shotguns. He's got a second garage the he converted into a meat locker. I help him during deer season when I am back in Iowa clean, cut wrap and pack 150 deer in december. [IMG]

There is a small poster framed in Mom and Dad's bedroom saying "If guns aren't allowed in heaven I'm not GOING!" you see a guy with a pack of guns behind his back and a rabbit running. [IMG]

There was for many years a coyotee hide was next to my room. It always smelled. One day after several years Mom got Dad to take it out of the house and put it in his shotgun room in the garage. [IMG]

sorry, this is not much about knives, but knives are used to get the hide off? [IMG]

I hope to one day have one of those Glocks with the silver slide and have a Surefire X200 LED weaponlight mounted on it.

But realistically, my first (in years) gun will probably be a suped-up 12 guage with all the tactical accessories.

BTW...the best thing happened yesterday...I found my Dozier Ka-Bar Knife!! YES! I thought it was gone forever. It WAS in the car, in the one place I didn't look...up. I clipped it the the top of the visor. Stupid me, but at least i have my good knife back.

I still really, really want an Emerson with a wave.

Yello, you may want to click this link for Discounted Emerson Prices. Cheapest price I have ever seen on a Combat Kerambit. Second lowest on a Griffe.

EDIT: Just noticed the low prices are pre-sale prices on new kerambit versions of existing styles coming out in fall. Hmmm....

You'll really like the Glock. Once you have one, you'll never want another pistol (except maybe another Glock). Mine is the .40 cal Gov't style, it is so easy to clean......the ONLY thing I don't like, is the safety is a 3lb pressure switch on the trigger. And the aftermarket is still good to get the larger clips that were banned for sale with a new one. The only other pistols I have now are collectors.

    YelloDevil,

What are the odds USN would crash, you would have to re-register, and when you did, you..of all people would end up with Member# 666??

You should paint your face red and take a picture holding those two Striders while screaming. THAT would make a great avatar!

I was thinking something along the lines of that...

It's really kinda sad that USN went down like that. There is a lot of history in there, and there has been a few members who have passed away that were immortalized in that forum.

You still going to send me those/that video? If so, email me your address, I'll send you a Stinger for you to play with.

AgentHibby...I know Joefish. That was new back when I was a Navy Recruiter...like '99 I think.

I honestly don't know too much about the Tarani folder, but I'm going to play with it at Blade

You may want to drop the user "Michelle" a pm to ask her, she's very knowledgeable on the karambit. She's the blond on the first page of this thread. Just mention you're friends with me and use my real name.
