Verizon updated their #DATA estimates to breakdown between 'in' and 'non in' messages here in the NE Wash/Balt area.. is this the case for everyone else?
Yes, someone at Verizon told me last Friday that this change was going to happen today. This is for everyone, and it also tells you your current PIX/FLIX usage, and differenciates between IN and non IN. #MIN also changed to where you have the option of hearing all your family plan's usage. Very nice change, Thank you Verizon!
Sweet! I love the new layout of my messaging section on my account. Below is a screen shot of my current usage details from my online account.
You sure use your phone a lot, Dan. You don't seem to use your phone a lot on weekends though My IN SMS is about 550 sent 540 received right now and I'm not half way through my billing cycle.
That's my only complaint about Verizon's online account manager. I don't know why it has that weekend section and always shows zero minutes used. Nights & Weekends show up on the off peak section. They need to keep that off peak section but just delete that "Weekend Minutes" section.
So yours never shows anything for weekend minutes? Mine is just fine. If you let me know how you pasted your online summary in this thread I will do the same with mine then you will see what I mean.
No, my online account always shows zero minutes in the weekend section. All my night & weekend minutes show up in the off peak section though. It's not a big deal though as it still shows my weekend minute use it's just in the off peak section which is really what weekend minutes are anyways. No biggie, just a very minor complaint of mine.
Do you hae IN messaging or no? I have the old txt/mobile web bundle and it just tells me sent and recived messages.
You know what else I have noticed. In the text message that you get for your minute usage there is no weekend minutes part. For example in my current minute summery via text message It looks like this: Estimate as of 08/07 11:03 PM Pk:383 OffPk/Night:2755 PkIN Calling:860 OffPkIN Calling:1876
I never post my phone number in a open forum. It's generally a good idea to not post your phone number in a open internet forum. I mean after all you never know who might see this message. Maybe I'm paranoid but it's possible that a spammer might get my number or some crazy person that for whatever reason wants to harass me.
I agree 100 %, but he was just joking I personally would only PM my number to people, but not post it somewhere publically.
well, i used to come here alot, then some things happened to my computer and i had to format... and i forgot all about this place until now . anyway, the reason i came by was because i was wandering if there was a limit to the amount of "unlimited" nights and weekends you get. i just started college 2 weeks ago, and my minute usage has significantly increasted. i am almost at 2000 of peak minutes and i still until the 12th! but after looking at TNDan21's post, its appearing as though its ok.....
my total for the past month, ended Sept 11/12.. (not sure which day) is 3620. of which 83 were peak, 373 were peak IN, 50 were offpeak IN, 3114 were offpeak... this month i should hit more since for the entire billing cycle i will be in college... except im plannin 2 trips home... hopefully i can make both. one is for my girlfriends homecoming and the other is for my birthday. so, if i make it home both weekends, i actually may not even hit what i did last month cuz ALOT of the time comes from the weekends...
