Hi everyone, I'm posting here hoping someone can help identifying this antenna which has been installed on the post oustide the house, only twenty feet from the second floor bedroom.... I'd love to know the maker so I can get some specs just for my peace of mind. Thank you in advance. I can tell you its in Montreal Canada and it says Bell on the UPS box below.
If it says Bell on the box then it is more then likely a Bell Mobility antenna. ....that is if you were referring to who the carrier is. Do you have the exact location in Montreal as to where this is?
That is a rotatable DAS not it looks like. According to TelcomJunkie, that thing has a directional antenna inside that can be moved from the ground. Odds are, it is not pointing at your house, but you can find out using a phones field test.
Thanks for the answers so far, I guessed it was for Bell, I want to know the manufacturer of the radome antenna, looks from what I've read to be an omnidirectional, but I'm no expert. How do I go about doing this test with my phone to see if its directional and where its pointing at?? Its located in Pointe-Claire near intersection Coolbreeze and St-Louis, there s another one installed not far right across from the Sir John Fisher school. Thank you
