I created this sweet Michigan wallpaper in Photoshop that I wanted to use on my phone. When I transfer it over and load it up on my phone its kind of blocky and not as smooth or clear as the ones preloaded, or even the ones I have downloaded from different websites. I tried a couple different things like websafe colors. They just look like crap. I also made the size twice as big as the recommended size of 176 x 220 thinking that when it reduced it down it would be of better quality. Didn't happen. What am I doing wrong here? Thanks for any help.
I have noticed that same problem on my V3C. I know you want it full size but it will look better if change the layout to center. I know it's not a fix but it's the best I have to offer.
I just used Motorola Phone Tools. Created the image in Photoshop and then just browsed for it in MPT and uploaded. Its kinda disappointing. Its just weird how some of them look so sharp and clear and the one I did, basically in about 5 colors, looks like total crap. You stay classy..
If you have sprint razr you can use rumkin phone uploader, (go to google and type in rumkin uploader) it will do its best to format the picture size and quality as it uploads. All of my custom wallpapers look good.
