Am needing to change service to a carrier with service in northern AZ -Flagstaff and Kingman, and Albuquerque area, but live in Metro Phoenix. Anyone know if Cingular has good coverage in these areas? Thx
Cingular has lots of areas around there with no coverage! Your best choice is Alltel, followed by Verizon as a close second. If you don't stray out of town or off the interstates, Cingular & Sprint then become good choices. Besides having the widest coverage, Alltel also has other advantages, including better prices and plans. Cingular does have excellent coverage along I-40, but they have not built up much in other rural areas. And, for some reason, the network in ABQ (built by AT&T) acts like it was never finished. I'll admit they are slowly getting better.
