Is this possible? I just sold my old phone on eBay (Moto V557) and just realized I have a bunch of pictures, videos and ringtones stored on the phone. Is there anyway I could copy everything to a blank SIM or multiple SIM cards? If not, what should I do? I don't have a bluetooth or a USB cable to connect this phone to my computer. I'm trying to somehow put all of the pictures, ringtones, videos and wallpapers on a SIM or something before i send the phone out to the person who won the auction.

    Any suggestions? Thanks in advance...

The only thing that can be copied onto the SIM card are the contacts and on some phones, the text messages. Your media needs to be transferred off the phone by either USB cable or Bluetooth. I bought my V551 USB cable for like $3 on Ebay (The V551 & V557 use the same cable). Its well worth the investment.

    Thanks for the reply.

I saw the USB cable on ebay for less then 99 cents, but where would I get the software from, or do I even need the software if I'm just transferring pictures/videos?

You will need software for the V551/7. Most beginners use MPT because its the easiest to get the drivers working and it has safeguards in place to prevent you from deleting or changing critical system files. Otherwise P2K Commander works quite well, and is available as a free download to members of www.motomodders.net.

Yes they are, but the has stated that he does not have BT capability on his computer. A USB cable is cheaper than a BT dongle.

you dont need bluetooth on computer just connect the two handsets via bluetooth and send the pictures to each other. it is very easy. just pick the picture you want and click send via bluetooth after the handsets are connected.
