Copying is good for the industry!?!?!?

    Here is a video that talks about how copying can help drive innovation and creativity. It also talks about copying vs. counterfeiting and brings in the issues of runaway patent laws.

    ** Warning**
    This comes from a very political news source. However there are many good points and it is completely appropriate in here. But the viewer must be mature enough to look at the issues of copying/ counterfeitingiting while not trying to read an underlying political message.

    Seemed fair and reasonable. They are not saying what is happening in the wireless industry is flatly wrong. They are also saying that the battles have raised to level of insanity and is self-destructive. I've said that myself.

    Who dares me to add this to an Apple News forum? Kidding. I'm to scared to do something like that. Haha.

    Seriously though. The movie "2001: A Space Oddesy", released in 1964, shows some spacemen Face Timing on an iPad. "Minority Report" features a multi touch screen. Where is Tom Cruise's patent payments?

    Btw, I am writing this on an ipad. Samsungs "blatant patent infringement" did not cost Apple (or Tom Cruise) any lost revenue.
