Ha! Thanks!! I actually had one of these amps and gave it to a friend who desperately needed it. She lives in Lake Arrowhead and after the fires the land lines in that area have been nothing but problems. Her phone (att htc) would occasionally get a text message but she could never make/receive a call. She never saw 1 bar while at home. I gave her my Cyfree amp and yagi antenna and it brought the phone to 3 bars and working status. The nice thing about the Cyfree was it came with the wall adapter, and I had the connector for a v265 that also worked with the HTC. I have a Wilson amp so giving the Cyfree to someone in need wasn't hard and the right thing to do. The Wilson works fine, BUT its too powerful for digital. If I use it when driving, every time I get close to a tower the call drops and the phone kicks to analog. Even with the tower commanding the phone to minimum output the Wilson still has to much gain. The cdma system doesn't like this and disables the phone. The Cyfree never did that. The Wilson seems to work a bit better for analog but sadly analog is almost gone. I travel around the back roads of CA and NV about 8 day a month so this baby will come in handy. This is awesome! Thanks Max and WA! Congrats to WiggyFife. That Yagi can work wonders. Get it directly connected to you phone and pointed at the tower. Antenna is almost everything.
Well WiggyFife, the 2nd place winner, says his coverage is perfect and that the prize should be given to someone who can really use it. So......I picked another name out of the box. Jay2TheRescue Congrats, the 2nd place prize is now yours! or.....I can keep pulling names...
(Blushing) Thanks! Although I have great signal at home, my sister in the mountains has terrible signal, I'll give it to her. Thanks again, Jay
