Verizon has txt bundles, vcast, and mobile web packages plus they also have broadband data plans with unlimited internet. How does the mobile web package and unlimited internet differ other than in their huge price difference? For me, if I want to just txt msg and use limited internet from my phone what would be the recommendations?
If you want unlimited Internet for your phone, just pay for the $15 VCast package. This includes unlimited airtime for VCast things as well as unlimited airtime for Mobile Web and Picture/FLIX messaging for $15. The higher prices are for tethering your phone to a computer, or for using a device such as a Treo or Smartphone for EVDO internet surfing. Is this of any help? Andy
NKrypteD1 is right. The VCast package for $15/month does not include text messaging. Unlimited text/pix/flix to Verizon customers and 500 additional messages to other non-Verizon customers (i.e. Sprint, T-Mobile, IM messages, etc.) costs an extra $10/month.
