Wirelessly posted (Walkguru's: LG-CU500 Obigo/WAP2.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0) Sometimes whenever im looking for info.
I do look on there once in a while. But most of the time I look at the user feeback more than their reports as that tends to be more acurate than their review. many times I have seen them give products a 6 based on their own analysis while the users avg could be more than an 8. The bottom line just use it as a guide for comparison purposes and one should be the final judge based on their own on hand review. So far I find that their reviews to be very limited and if they are to excell in reviews then they should endeavor to review every product. I leave the real reviews to the specialized industry magazines as that is all they do and that is their bread and butter unlike CR, JD Power or Cnet who are not specialized in such.
Even the reviews in the specialized magazines should never be taken as a sole guide. They will give you the most complete picture of any review, yet if you're a scrutinizing user you'll be invariably left with questions that weren't answered by the review. It is indeed best to check yourself.
I like to use CNet as a comparison tool with other sites as well. As hf1khal said, I like to read the readers reviews to get more information on the good & bad of products.
Some but I saw your thread in the BB forums just before and I mgiht have to suggest that you visit www.blackberryforums.com and search or ask in there.
