I have a question about wi-fi access and am getting mixed answers. I'm currently shopping for a new phone. If I get the Dash and the T-Mobile Family Time Basic ($59.99 for 700 shared minutes, this should more more than enough for my wife and I), can I still use the Dash to browse the internet on an unsecured wifi, ie Starbucks? I don't plan on needing it often, but I'd like the capability to do so if I need emergency directions or the like.

Thanks in advance for your help :)

Yes you can use any unsecured WiFi source for full internet browsing on the dash, do it on mine all the time, keep in mind to qualfiy for the rebate if you're activating service or upgrading existing service you do have to add the data plan, but you can remove it after you get your rebate back.
