http://www.nypost.com/news/regionalnews/18259.htm For anyone who isn't familiar with Crown Castle, they build and lease towers (a lot of them for VZW) so Crown Castle means that there will be at least one other carrier on these besides Nextel and T-Mobile.
This news came on the NYTimes: The six companies granted access to the poles include two cellular providers, Nextel and T-Mobile, and three non-cellular companies, ClearLinx Network Corp., Crown Castle Solutions and Dianet Communications. The sixth company, IDT Business Services, will offer telephone service via the Internet. Each company will be allowed to use a maximum of 3,000 poles citywide for a term of 15 years. Crown Castle is'nt picky, in fact they want all the carriers which means income for them.
