Citigroup: Comcast may buy wireless carrier

    This could be interesting, with the spectrum the cable companies won in the auction, and Sprint being a partner with Comcast, Cox and (I don't remember the last one) it could make some sense. I do think though with the problems Sprint is having right now it could be as unattractive as it is attractive.

    I doubt T-Mobile would sell to them as well as Alltel, but this would help Alltel possibly become a National Carrier with the added spectrum in the bigger cities.

    Guess we will have to wait & see what may happen or may not happen.

    With the CATV competing w/ the Bells
    they got to have Cell Phones.
    To complete the package of Triple Play
    CATV, Phone, Internet PLUS Cell Phones.

    Then it's no longer a triple play then is it? it's a quadruple play if they add cell phones.
