Most likely Verizon Wireless is going to have the better coverage for you.

Nobody will ever have the best of both worlds. Cingular has the best rate plans while Verizon has the best coverage. This in no way means that Cingular coverage is terrible or that Verizon charges you an arm and a leg for everything. In fact, Cingular has very good coverage when using TDMA but Verizon has a slight advantage. Verizon also has very good rate plans, but Cingular has a slight advantage on rate plans. You just have to define how much is too expensive for you and how bad coverage is before you say I don't want it.
