Cingular service in Rockland, ME

    Any problems using a Cingular phone in the Rockland, Maine area?

    Besides the fact that Cingular doesn't provide service in Maine? No

    Clarification: I'm planning to visit Rockland this summer. So do you mean a Cingular phone is useless in Maine, or that Cingular doesn't provide service and I'd be roaming. If the latter then how is the service?

    Cingular does provide service for the Northeast Region and Nationwide in Maine...but you can't buy phones there.....there are very few providers who actually sell in Maine....so it is hard to say how Cingular service would be....lets see if someone who has visited Maine that has Cingular responds.
