I have the Nokia 6061 and it is a nice, simple phone. My main issue with it is that there is no way to increase the earpiece volume to compensate for a noisy environment. It has an "Automatic volume control" feature which is supposed to do this, but I have not found it very useful. There is also no way of sending an incoming call to voicemail with the phone closed. You need to set the phone to not answer when opened. Then if you are in a meeting and you have forgotten to set the phone to silent mode, you can open it and reject the call with the End key. This also means that you will always have to answer the phone with the Send key. But since this phone has no external screen to show you the caller ID, that may be just as well - you need to open it anyway if you want to screen calls using the caller ID. Besides that, it has good performance and features for an inexpensive phone. I got mine as a "refurbished" model from the Cingular website for $30.00, no contract. It seemed new. You may also want to check out the Nokia 6102i which has a ton more features and is $29.99 with a 2-year contract and after a $50 mail in rebate.
I think all Motos are great with the exception of the V180, I just think that the V557 is even better if you are looking for something that works in weak signal areas. -Jay
If your questions were a bit more specific, people here could be of more help. Which model are you interested in? For phone ratings, along with a variety of opinions, and more extensive specs than can be found on the Cingular site, try Phonescoop
No, Cingular (GSM) LG's are . Which black one? Which phone?? Where do you live?? You may be seeing some phones on the Cingular site that are not available everywhere. Constantly posting threads with nothing but vague, general questions makes it difficult to give you the answers you seem to be looking for. Besides the fact that some of the answers to the questions you've asked have already been answered in other threads. Try doing a forum search. For that matter, take SteveW's suggestion and try Phonescoop.
