Cingular GMS

    Will a Cingular GMS phone work nationwide yet. I live in Ohio and travel Eastern US

    As far as I know there is no cingular gsm coverage currently in Ohio. If you live in a Cingular GSM area you can travel to any area that there is GSM coverage. You would be roaming on voicestream

    GSM nationwide coverage is limited, however it is quickly expanding to remote areas. In a couple of years this will no longer be an excuse for staying away from it.
