Anyone notice that there is a huge deadspot for Cingular on the the Garden State Parkway. I noticed driving south that from Exit 144 down to like exit 140 I had no signal whatsoever. That is real bad. I just switched from Verizon and this deadspot makes me real wary of Cingular's coverage. If there is a huge hole like that on the parkway i can just imagine in other places as well. Anyone else notice this big deadspot.

How big is the Road Hole?
    1 foot, 3 ft wide?
Did you report it, that Hole is Dangerous at that speed?
I usually drive 70 MPH on my way to Atlantic City

    None, Most of the time
    when i check there's Coverage.
    I'll be there again sometime
    but riding those Casino Buses
so i can look at those exits.
This exit is the Newark/Orange Area
    Never had problems there.
Most of the Time this is a Traffic Area during rush hour,
    check your Phone.
    Try Hard Starting your Phone,
    turning it ON/OFF.

Not having Coverage in this Traffic Congested park of GSP
    is Not Acceptable.

Not only Cingular Coverage here is Strong,
    it does NOT drop calls.
What Phone Do you Have BTW?

I just got the Nokia 6682 with the new firmware. It might have been just a network problem. because i usually have service but for some reason, late last nite i didnt have service for that stretch on the parkway.

Maybe it was a temporary outage or your phone lost network registration temporarily. There is no such dead spot. I drive through there almost every day.

I just drove down that stretch of the parkway tonite and I had reception. Maybe it was some freak outtage or something where the network was unavailable.

I haven't had any problems in the 140-144 MM section. However, I have found the Holmdel-Arts Center area to have a very signal. This has been the case pre GSM & still is.

I haven't been in that area in a long time, but I've noticed a couple of weak spots along I-78 in the stretch that goes from GSP and 287.

After riding it out From North Jersey of Garden State Pkwy
to Atlantic City i'll Say Cingular Has NO DEAD ZONES.

    This coverage is Very Reliable.
Coverage inside The Borgata Casino has Improved where it used to
    be Hit or Miss.
