I recently cancelled my Cingular service because my phone had died from getting wet. I did'nt have insurance and the phone could not be repaired, so after looking at the phone selection and pricing, I decided to shop around for other phones and service providers. I just recently received a bill from Cingular that states I owe a $36.00 reconnection fee, although the phone has never been reconnected. Cingular took the phone the day I cancelled, as I figured I would'nt need it back since it is useless and would not power on. When I discuss this with cingular, they just tell me this is their policy. I personally think it makes no sense. Has anyone else been through this with Cingular?
moto, i hear you load and clear, tell cingular to shove it. I hate that damn company of money hungrey, loosers with a shoddy network. it basically $uck$. read my other long post. if you want details.
Where is your other long post. I want details. I have issues with AT&T myself as detailed in my thread about problems with my billing cycle. I hate to say it but at least things worked with Cingular in charge. I know folks say that it's the same with a different name but it sure doesn't feel like it.
