I agree with AnthroMatt too....I am glad to know there's someone else who knows how to look at this case from an unbiased point of view. I agree that the new plans should give at least weekends if not nights (like T-Mobile).

T-Mobile does give you weekends, but they don't give you 900 anytime minutes for $40. They only give you 600 anytime minutes. Their 1000 anytime plan did NOT include weekends. It was just 1000 minutes.

Does anyone really go over 1000 off-peak? It just seems like the 5000 is more of an arbitrary number than something meant to limit system usage and that 1000 would be the same. If they were to offer 800min plus 250 off-peak it might be financially OK, but to offer 800min plus 1000 off-peak would mean that no one would go with their regular plans since there would be no incentive since no one goes over 1000min off-peak (I'm assuming).

As I noted above, I routinely go over 1000 off-peak minutes

There's a joke about a 900 number in there somewhere, I know there is... but I'll skip it for now and just say that's what mobilllco-mobile minutes are for.

    LOL

Yeah I kinda left myself open there.
She was in the City this weekend. I TRYED to get her to get a Verizon Phone but it didn't work. She realy likes the VX10 and VX4400 so she should be getting one soon. And I use about 1500 of-peak minutes a month with her so these plans wouldn't help me.
