I'm with Verizon and I'll be getting a new phone sometime around December. I've always liked the styling of Motorola flip-phones and currently have a T730. I don't need all the bells and whistles. I just basically want a phone to have (in the following order of importance):

    Good sound quality
    Durability
    Calendar
Ease of switching phone from ringer to vibrate, or to silent
    Calculator

I like the styling of the V65p, V710, and the V276. Which phone do you think is the one which would best fit my list above?

Thanks for any help, opinions, admonishments, etc :)

I am going to answer my own question. In beginning my research I came onto the forum and it looked as though the E815 had a big question mark with it, so I didn't even include it on my list. But doing further research, it sounds like it is a great phone. I'm pretty sure I am going with this phone.

The V65p, V276, and V710 will most likely be unavailable by December. The E815 may also be an endangered species by then and in short supply or possibly discontinued.

The E815 with Music on Demand will be coming out as a replacement, with a possible slight name change like the V265 to V276. The V3c RAZR and V325 will also be available then giving you new options.

My advice is don't plan for a new cell phone 3 months in advance. Things change too fast.

If it ever comes out for VZW. From what I've read on the net, Sprint has first dibs on this phone (aka as V740) which is a mystery to me??

    One word: Troll.

Why do you constantly post in a Moto forum about this product? You go on and on about the V3 as being so huge, yet the V740 is actually thicker than the RAZR. Also according to recent articles the Samsung Blade for US will have fewer features than the Korean model. Why would you recommend a phone that nobody knows what features it will even have?

What a bonehead. For your information the Blade is thinner by .02 of an inch than the GSM model, which if you knew anything is thicker than the CDMA RAZR. The length and width are the same on the two phones.

This article seems to indicate the V740 is thicker than the RAZR.

This site has specs showing them identical in size.

Information seems inconsistent at best. However that doesn't change my main point, you are still a troll.

Once a bonehead, always a bonehead.
