Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree. The V60's electroluminescent backlight is much better than using LED's. However, some of those blue LED'S are pretty bright, except they just aren't as smooth as a electroluminescent backlight.

i have to say that the Led lights do look alittle cheap....i like the more smooth look..The pcsrepair.com has a good pic of a v60 with blue backlighting and white font....i would pay alittle more to have that look...

That's just inverting the screen... and for what it's worth, I've received nothing but compliments on my phone's displays. It's not perfect by any means, but it defintiely sets it apart from other v60i's and it's what most other phones have already.

I do like the color of your phone.....where did you get your plates? have you noticed a reception loss with that aftermarket antenna?

I got the faceplates from Chad Martini in PA, his ebay user ID is drymartini69, you'll see all the info in his auctions. He has a bunch of colors, he powdercoats the OEM faceplates so you have a lot more color choices available, including some very nice ones.

I have 'supplemented' the aftermarket antenna with an internal booster, which a lot of people advise me does absolutely nothing, but as it is, I have decent reception, altho it's also TDMA and in NYC so the coverage would be strong regardless.
