Just did the seem edit to change the display on the front of my Verizon Razr to the same wallpaper as inside the phone, and it worked, thank you.

Is there a way to disable the verizon label, time and date bar that overlay the display on the front of the phone. When these are displayed you really can't see the underlying image.

You cannot get rid of the time and date, but u can modify the Verizon Wireless banner. It is also done with a seem edit. In the similar manner u did the one in this thread, here is how to change the Verizon Wireless banner:

    Seem 296a, Record 5, Bytes 20.

When u load that from phone, first make a copy by saving it to file. Once u did that, u can edit the TEXT u see in the upper right corner.

DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING BEFORE THE "V" OR ANYTHING AFTER THE LAST "S" IN VERIZON WIRELESS.

This means u have the option to have a 16 character banner of ur choice. Orrr, u can enter all SPACES to make it blank so u can see the wallpaper better (this is what I do).

This is how it shoudl appear upon loading the seem -> http://mark.cdmaforums.com/images/296a-2.jpg

This is how it should look when done if using all blank spaces -> http://mark.cdmaforums.com/images/296a-4.jpg

Is it just me, or is the Microsoft Software Updater link (HacktheRazr) not working? If it is working, can you please post the link, because the one it shows is not valid. If it's not, does anybody know how I can get it?

Yea, click the actual MSU icon on the left. Not the "DOWNLOAD" link on the right.

I did as the outer screeb seem says, and that all works fine. But, my computer makes the USB noise, but does not "connect" to my phone... P2K shows Not connected. Any suggestions?

EDIT: I just ran the DriverTool-421a again and it works. Thnx for the great mods.

RE-EDIT: I tried to do the Banner Seem, but nothing showed up for 296A, 5, 20... ??

Make sure u remember to use MSU first, THEN p2kseem, or the seems wont load up and it will look blank. B/c if u load seem 296a, record 5, bytes 20, it will show up.

I just want to thank you Cincyball, I told this forum when I signed up you were the one who referred me, as you have helped me so much, I hope that helps you!

Anyway, thanks to you I can upload my music to my phone (synch) and I have a new picture on that stupid screen on the front of my phone. But no matter what I can not load videos to my phone.

What could I be doing wrong, or can you lead me through how to do that?
    Thanks

Hey i've been looking around the threads to find out how to change the picture on the external screen when its open. (I already followed this thread and got the graphic up when its closed). I was wondering how to change it so I don't get the annoying verizon logo when its open. I really appreciate your help since I haven't been able to find out how to do it in another thread.
