    They close up, fairly quickly depending on how long you've had them. My lip was completely closed within 24 hours.

    Mine close up fairly quickly (2-3 months completely) but for the time that the holes are still open I could still use a taper to put the ring back in if I wanted to. i just don't think I want to. Ewww... Linkin Park.

    Wow, mine close up alot faster than that, even ones that I've had for years are completely closed after a few days, a week tops. My immune system is weird though, it's always doing crazy stuff, like trying to kill me, and trying to grow new limbs. I don't mind LP, I like their first album, and a few songs on the new one, I just don't like how commercial they've become.
