I see about 25 points going South on I-380 about 1 hour ago from a VZW Eris. Are those the ones you are referring to? Should there be more? If you are unsure if your data is actually being received on the server, go into the app menu and press the "My Points" button, and look how many data points you have registered, and then look again after you did some sending and compare the numbers.

If you're doing 70 MPH please don't be looking at the little screen  (unless you're a passenger of course ;)). Yea, actually, in the app menu there's a "Drive Mode" that was going to be a horizontal display, with bigger numbers, meant for in-car use, but I didn't get around to doing it :O...hopefully in the next release in a month or so...

Sorry - yes, those were me - yesterday afternoon & today. It just didn't get yesterday AM - which I saw you had a CDMA issue.

I didn't notice the MPH yesterday (as the driver) - but did today (as the passenger). Is it like that on the phones with larger displays, also?

Oh, yea, sorry about yesterday, the CDMA part was down for a few hours :O
The display looks OK on my G1 and Milestone, but yea, the right side does seem to get slightly cut off somehow. I'll see if I can improve that somehow in the next version, maybe indent it or something.

    Ah, OK!

No big deal to me. I only use my BB once in a while, my Vibrant is my main device. Can't wait till T-Mobile & Google get UMA on Android.

Okay, I did about another 90 points on Auto Send. It did get locked up again. I hit the menu key and chose "Force Close", and it closed out.

The speed showed both digits on the screen clearly but *right justified* .

It showed 4Mb data sent during the duration, is this normal?

    Thanks

Ok, from all your feedbacks here, it looks like theres an occasional crash happening with the auto-send. I'll have a look at the code I use there and see if I can improve it in the next version. Thanks all for bringing this to my attention. BTW, has anyone here ever had the app crash while not sending data?

The amount of data sent is just estimating 5KB for every point sent. The actual data sent is probably less. I was seeing about 2-3KB sending from my phone. In a future version I might add an actual data counter, but to estimate 5KB was just a "quick and dirty" way of showing an estimated amount of data sent for now.

    Thanks.

I use cellumap for checking battery status and it has never kocked up. I have sent single points from time to time or just turned GPS on to check speed etc. and no lockup then either.

Someone just sent me a screenshot, and now I see what you mean. The problem is that the network name "Verizon Wireless" is kind of long and the screen column needs to expand, and when it expands, everything gets pushed to the right. I'll help this a little in the next version by changing the "RSSI (CDMA/EVDO)" to just "RSSI" to free some space for when the column expands, then it can push a little more to the left and hopefully keep everything visable.

...people on AT&T are fortunate there's only 4 charachters involved and this doesn't happen ;)

Well AT&T is actually AT&T Mobilty so you could call Verizon Wireless as Verizon or better yet VZW ( a rather common designation for red) ;)

Hmm - I actually don't have a VZW banner - since I have a custom ROM, it says "TeamandIRC" so not too long. but I guess longer than AT&T.
