I recently picked up a t-mobile 'to-go' phone for free and noticed that in NE Kent county i could pick up a cell one signal. At the intersection of M-57 and Lincoln Lake Rd. there definitally is a tower because it was visiable and I had full bars. I did notice that there was no data/GRPS on the tower, but from what I can tell the tower is in Kent Co. This is right on the border of Montcolm Co, where NPI had native coverage before Cell One bought them out. Is there a possibility that Cell One would expand south into the heart of Kent Co?
We have stuff all around the area to the north, we cant go any farther south for now. Data will work your phone may not be set up right.
I believe Centennial holds the cellular license in GR, Alltel holds the other. I don't know what Dobson's plans are or whether they can even expand down there. Are there PCS licenses still available for grand rapids?
Actually- Verizon holds the A side and Alltel holds the B side cellular licences. T-mobile, Cingular, Centennial, and Sprint all are 1900 mhz PCS here.

i thought cenntennial was the A carrier. Anyways Dobson only has a little B,E band. All the other spectrum is already being used.
