I got a case off of an accessories website (cellaccessories4u.com I think) and it covers the front with plastic. I basically wanted something to protect the screen and didn't need a swivel clip on the back or anything. Plus the price was right ($5) and it had holes for the speaker and red LED on top of the phone. Some people don't like plastic covering the keys though; they complain it makes pushing the keys harder. It's based on personal preference but you should be able to find a good case for the phone for less than $10.
I've enjoyed my generic, extra-large case from Belkin that I picked up at Staples for $10. It has a swivel so I can wear it horizontally or vertically.
