cell towers, repeaters, micro cells, hidden around disney world parks??????

    i have always wondered if anyone had any information on the disney parks and have noticed and cell towers or repeaters inside the park. maybe on a building or something. i have always been interested. anyone know of this??????

    I can only speak on my experience from Disneyland here in California. There are DAS systems in place by the major carriers to provide full coverage throughout the entire park. I get 5 bars even when down in the depths of a ride.

    wow thats pretty good. i heard a rumor that t-mobile had a site on top of the tower of terror in the orlando MGM studios???????

    i have never heard of a DAS ? what do they look like and are they put in specific areas to provide coverage in highly populated areas?????

    Distributed Antenna System, basically... they install a normal cell site but instead of having it go into a tower and antenna, it's typically converted to fiber optics and then the antennas are distributed to the points they need them at.
