Cause they only spent a whopping five minutes actually in the matrix in this movie.

Yes, in the second Matrix they had a Samsung Phone. I believe Ceno or Cop is selling a non-working demo model of said phone in the Marketplace forum. I don't know what they had in the first Matrix but the flip-down cover does remind me of a Nokia I saw once.

Collector's item, smolector's item... I still think it's kind of ugly. The only way you could get away with using the thing in public is if you're dressed like Neo or Morpheus.

Ceno: I found this Matrix to be...well, not really related to the Matrix, but, more of a closure to it. I'm guessing the next one will be the life after Neo's sacrafice? I had wished they had a bit more cellular in the movie, but, that's my wish.

Rancid: I was Neo for Halloween...D@MMIT, I really could have used that phone then..just to be picturesque.

I don't think trick or treaters should be allowed in here. And who give a flying @#$# about whether or not a movie has more cell phones?? They need to make a cell-phone patch for all of us like this god-forsaken nicotine one I slapped on my arm today. TIP: If you quit smoking, dont put the patch directly over your Brachial Artery...unless you want to be strung out all day. Tadlock: I take it you wont go see Lond of the Rings? You know middle Earth had no Cellular!

BY the way...I found a way to raise money for my paintball project. It's almost laughable the profit margin. I found www.freeled.com . They sell those little LED keychain lights wholesale. Buy 100 (you can get less) for $75 and sell them for the going rate of $10 and you profit $925.00. Who'da thought?? Heck just sell 25 of them and you can get about any new phone you want! I ordered 10 to check em out (Paid $12...about what I paid for ONE of them before!)

May be off topic a bit, but its good info. If you had a way to sell 500 a month you'd be in the top 1% of income earners in the US.

    Just a thought...

Sorry Tad...but quitting smoking makes me want to do the stuff Yello says in his text messages people about...w/o the naked stuff.

Yeah, I cared about cellular in the movies because I like cellular. Why not trying 2 of those patches Delta? [IMG]. I did see LOTR, both of them, and yeah, I know they had no cellular.

I don't know about movies (I know there were Cingular phones in Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle) but I did see what I believe to be a Motorola v60 PTT handset on Food Network's Good Eats last night.

The patch is no fun...and it makes you fell like shiite. 2 patches would kill me. I couldn't go to sleep last night till I took it off around 2:30 am.

Hey Ceno-buddy...whassup wit' da big V-Z? Why dere be no new plans and (stuff)?
And when the hell are we going to see a new phone with some substance? I have heard nothing about this North-Americas Choice plan, and Care told me it launched!! I think it stinks they aren't doing any better plan changes for christmas.

My solution to the sickness the patch causes was to keep smoking. But that doesn't really help you. Good luck in quitting.

Know whats funny? You know how it feels to inhale through your nose when it's like 20 degrees outside? Thats how i feel now. I guess your body clears out real fast when you stop, it's just the nictotine addiction and the habit you deal with. But it feels like I am breathing cold mountain air, and I'm in the mall.

Delta: I wouldn't want to kill you with 2 patches, but, honestly, those things are like taking Zyban. They make you all "wired" and stuff..make you sleep weird, if you can sleep at all. Good luck though man!

Yeah, I stopped smoking for a while and in about three weeks there was a marked difference in my breathing. Now I need to quit for good and start excercising.

Tadpole: There's not going to be a fourth Matrix movie, this was the last one, thus making it a trilogy.

Delta: Not a d@mned thing goin on in VZ land. A few new phones comin out in the next week, but not a whole lot to be excited about. I have heard NOTHING about new plans for christmas. But good luck with the patches, those things damn near killed me.

Wasn't Star Wars a "trilogy" for a while? [IMG] just giving you a hard time, and before you say it: yes I know.

If there is demand, there then someone will try and pull it off, but I think since this one didn't live up to the hype, I'd say you are safe to call it at 3.

Yes, as I now realize that Matrix 3, was the "end" there were a few references in the movie, which maybe could be made into a follow up story..although I don't see how interesting it could be...?

The Video Game "Enter The Matrix" goes inside the whole trilogy and begins before the Revolutions and the Matrix WILL continue but through the matrix website, i forgot the exact link but the Watchowski bros refer to it as "... it begins when the Revolution ends" so theres some cool kick awrse stuff for the rest of the matrix fans out there.

BTW did you notice how they didnt use any motorola phones in any of the movies?
In the Matrix (which is more real than the "real" world) Moto doesnt Exist. Thank Deus Ex Machina!

That's because Nokia and Samsung took all of Moto's market share by the time the machines took over, so when the machines made the Matrix, they didn't even know what Motorola was. All of this because moto was slow to offer new phones in 2003.

Actually, you are wrong Ceno. You see, In 2004 Moto released a phone so advanced, it spawned a race of blood-thirsty machines. So in a sense, every sentinal you see is a decendant of this one special phone. Thats why there are no Moto phones...They turned into the machines! This phones software is mentioned in T3 (Terminator series being very similar in plot lines to Matrix) as "SkyNet".

But if the Sentinels, and the rest of the machines, were spawned from current Moto phones, wouldn't they be full of software glitches, thus making them easily defeatable? [IMG]

They key word is "current". I speak of a not-so-distant-future offering from Moto. You see, another common misconception is that the Sentinals have all those red "eyes". The "eyes" are actually camera phone lenses. Sentinals take a lot of pictures, and pic-message the "Source".

    God I'm bored.
