Could somebody please tell me what this stand for? I heard Sprint is 100% digital based on CDMA technology. Please explain. Thanks.
CDMA=Code Division Multiple Access. There are three types of 2G digital cellular technology in the USA, GSM (T-Mobile, Cingular,) CDMA (Sprint, Verizon, Alltel) and TDMA, which no one really uses anymore. You can learn more about CDMA by checking out the Wireless Advisor Glossary.
