CDMA handset cross carrier compatibility

    T-Mobile US, Fido CA, T-Mobile NL, Orange IL
    CDMA handsets such as from Verizon, Sprint or Alltel generally cannot be used on another network because of some firmware incompatibilities. You could have your handset flashed with the firmware of the chosen carrier, but then you have another obstacle and that's the ESN database. If the ESN of your handset is not in Verizon's or Alltel's database they may not let you register your handset on their network. This is totally their choice and their policy which you likely cannot change.
