My Apple iPhone 6 Olive Brown has been in use since launch day...about 2 months. I compared it to a new one in the Apple store. Mine is in good shape and I love it. It has turned into a chocolate brown color, which I'm fine with . The middle back is still a bit lighter but it is growing darker as my oily hands massage the back area more.

I love that the case is not breaking and easy to take off and on. On average I have taken it off maybe once every 2-3 days. Holding up well. I switch it out to my lighter brown Sena Heritage slip on pouch (which has held its color well, bTW). I think Apple has learned a lesson to start with darker colors. I've heard that the Midnight Blue is getting darker too, towards black/blue.

    So far only 2 cases...

    You are slipping vf. :D

I have only one case and planning to keep it that. I am sure mine has darkened as well but the coloring is even and attractive.

I agree, glad Apple decided on the darker colors with the leather cases, although I really loved my blue case.

Have you tried any of the silicone ones? How do they feel?
There is a blue one. Basically they seem to have the 5C colors for the 6 series.

I haven't tried any myself, but I have heard that the leather case actually make the phone look slimmer than the silicone, specially on the 6 plus.

I wouldn't wish to disappoint you, Charlyee.

So saw a case, priced from $0.99 to $3.29 (depending on wait time), that is clear TPU and only 0.3 mm thick. Covers the back and all sides Out of curiosity, I ordered one, for times when I wish to go naked, but not quite. Shows the phone off and removes some slipperiness, and reduces my concern about scratches when placing it down on a table. Although I doubt the bare phone would scratch so easily, this helps. Definitely not meant for dropping, but cool for slimness and I can see times when it is useful. No really lay-on-the-table lip, but grippy and crystal clear.

Did I say 0.3mm and flexible, so not going to crack. Maybe tear, but for a buck...worth the fun. Fits snuggly and cuts outs are perfect.

I'm REALLY. Liking this thin clear case. Has become my daily driver. Removes all slipperiness from the phone. And makes it appear naked

This clear 0.3 mm iPhone 6 case is just perfect! Slim, clear and good grip without getting stick in pants. And cheap. Got a few spares. Not scratching.

But there is no rest for the case weary...so I ordered another case just out of curiosity.

I'm on the fence with flip wallet cases. Had one and liked it...and hated it too. I like the Apple case and highly recommend it. But I'm more of a light brown than dark brown fan ( except in coats and pants), and already having the Apple case, and liking my KAVAJ iPad case, I'm trying the KAVAJ 'Dallas' iPhone 6 case. Should have it soon. At $26 ( using the 10% discount from KAVAJ)' hardly a set back for a better grade leather than Apple's

    http://kavaj.com/iphone-6-4-7-case-dallas-cognac/

Received amazing reviews on Amazon...although the price is trickling upwards. $29 on the web page and I paid $26.
    http://www.amazon.com/KAVAJ-iPhone-...=1417363739&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=KAVAJ+dalls

They also have a similar one without the flip. The Tokyo model.

I am very happy with my Apple Leather Case. It's been over a couple of months of which I spent three weeks in sandstorms, salt flats, and swamps.

I never once babied my phone, the case protected it very well. I was a bit concerned about sand, salt, or moisture between the phone and the case but the case is such a snug fit that nothing penetrated.

I am glad I chose the brown, it held up very well and looks as good as new.

I think this will be first for me, only one case. :)

I do love my brown Apple case too. Had it since launch.

I like the clear thin TPU case too. Finding that I switch back and forth.

Don't use the KAVAJ wallet much. Nor the Sena Sleeve.

Probably the best is the Apple case.

    Sticking with those 4

Hmm, I wonder if my liking the color of the case has something to do with the phone looking like a piece of dark chocolate - yummy. :D

Last night I decided to use a leather furniture cleanser polish on it. After I was all done I realized it cautioned against using it on surfaces where slipperiness matters - oops!

It did make it quite slippery initially but fortunately this morning it is almost back to normal.

I am thinking of ordering that TPU case, not much to lose at $4.00

I'd add some bumpy almonds to my case for extra grip,
Did that leather polish clean anything? I never though to try, or were you going for lighter chocolate?

BTW, on that TPU case, the first one I purchased and the two spare I got later are slightly different. I like the first better, as it is rounded on the edges, and the later ones agave more soured edges. It's fine, but different.

I just emailed the retailer to ask what was up.

I really didn't have much purpose in mind for cleaning it, just thought I would give it a try. It does look brighter and has a nice sheen to it. I like the darker brown (and dark chocolate :D) so not trying to change anything.

I just mentioned to a friend that the problem with these cheap cases is the lack of QC, and your good experience may or may-not be mine. I had 4 of these type of cases in different colors for my 5, and no two fit the same way.

I did order one, so will let you know what mine is like.

I just notice that my Apple Case got damaged on the top right corner at some point. There isn't any marks on the phone, possibly from being wedged against something sharp?

I just pick up a white/black CandyShell Grip case for my 6 plus. I really like the little added bulk and how much grip this case gives. Both of which were missing with Apple brown leather case I was using.

Vf, I got my clear TPU case today and it is really thin and does make the phone look gorgeous. All the cutouts are almost in the right places as well.

So what's the "but, ? You knew there was a but coming ;). It's not for me, here are some of the reasons:

The case is lower than the protruding lens - so laying it on its back makes the lens holder come in contact with the surface.

The front is almost flush with the screen - not good for putting the phone screen side down.

The fit is nice but not tight and I see it getting looser over time.

The inside of the case is textured and the outside super smooth and slick, this seems backwards to me, it makes the phone slippery and the phone susceptible to scratches.

The side seams are not smooth.

There is a blemish between the Apple logo and the word Apple, that must be an impurity in the TPU itself, it stares at me every time I look at the phone. :D
    [IMG]

So for now I am going back to the Apple case, but for sure it was $4 well spent and who knows I might even use it from time to time just because it makes the phone look so good.

I am using it as my daily case. It does have great grip compared to a bare phone. Bottom line--- we all secretly desire the naked phone!

It seems they ship different cases. I wrote to them and all they would do is discount the two new ones I purchased. Discount off of $4!!!

Both of mine give a 0.1mm perhaps protection for the lens. Maybe the first one a bit more. It's enough. I like it cause the case is naked but with a bit of grip. No there is no lay on the table. Nor stretches. I had this thing on and off countless times.

Too bad about the blemish. That would annoy me too.

Here is a photo of the two. You can see the better one is with smooth rounded corners that follow the phones shape and a special raised lip over the lens. Wish I could get this again.

You may find it enjoyable while at home laying around on the safety of a couch. :)
But yeah if you got the same as the last two I got, I would not recommend it as highly.

yes, I definitely got the one on the left and if you got two of those as well, I am thinking that's all they have in this batch.

That was kind of my concern, it is hard to get and expect the same QC from a $4 case as from a $40 one.

I feel much safer with my Apple case.

I don't think it is QC, Charlyee. It is just a differently designed case. I guess they sell whatever they get in.

More the reason to stick to my Apple case.

Yep, about the only case that's better is a Vaja case (the titanium Gresso case nonwithstanding)

Whoops, dmapr. That's your wife's iPhone, sorry to see that. Looks like the thin poly broke and the floor scraped the corner. Must have been a hard corner fall.

I think the Apple case is the same thin poly with leather and suede wrapped around the poly. The leather gives a bit more cushion and hold the poly together a bit. That's the Vaja makes it too.

My wife was more bummed about the shattered case than the tiny nick on the phone. She has no idea how it happened, she doesn't remember dropping it.

The Vaja may have poly inside, you don't see it as both inside and out have custom finishing. Could be carbon for all I know, for what they charge for the case :) The only leather case my wife had was an Adopted one and that had poly on the inside and very thin leather skin on the outside and that one eventually broke on the corner.
